describe the difference between pure substance and mixturs

pure substance a sample of matter with both definite and constant composition with distinct chemical properties.
compound is a pure chemical substance consisting of two or more different chemical elements that can be separated into simpler substances by chemical reactions.
molecule an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds.
chemical formula is a way of expressing information about the proportions of atoms that constitute a particular chemical compound
subscript a number, figure, symbol, or indicator that is smaller than the normal line of type and is set slightly below or above it
mixture is a material system made up of two or more different substances which are mixed but are not combined chemically.
