| Concave Lens | A lens that is thinner in the center and thicker at the edges, a shape that bends light outward |
| Convex Lens | A lens that is thicker in the center and thinner at the edges, a shape that bends light inward |
| Focal Point | A point where light rays come together after passing through a lens |
| Lens | A curved piece of clear glass or plastic that bends light rays |
| Reflection | The bouncing back of light rays from a surface |
| Refraction | The bending of light rays as they pass from one material into another |
| Prism | A glass bar that separates white light into the colors of the rainbow |
| Visible Light | electromagnetic waves that you can see; includes all the colors of the rainbow |
