Newton's second law of motion States that the Accelration of an object is the same directin as the net force on an object is in the same direction as the net force on the object
Friction The force that apposes the sliding motion of two surfaces that are touching each other
Static Frictionf The frictional force that prevents two surfaces from sliding past each other
Sliding Friction The force that opposes the motin of two surfaces sliding past each other
Air resistance Opposes the motion of objects to fall with different accelerations and different speeds
Gravity Attractive force between two objects that depends on the masses of the objects and the distance between them
Weight Gravitational force exerted on an object
Centripetal Acceleration Acceleraton of an object towards the center of a curved or circular path
Centripetal Force A net force that is directs towards the center of a curved or circular path
Newton's third law of motion States that when one object exerts a force on a second object exerts a force on the first object that's equal strength and in the opposite direction
Momentum Property of a moving object that equals its mass times its velocity
