TermDefinition
Cut To remove an item from a document.
Copy To duplicate a file, folder, or other object that you want to store in another location
Paste To insert items stored on the Clipboard into a document.
Clipboard A temporary storage are of text, images, or other objects that are cut or copied from any file and area available for pasting.
Drag and Drop To use pointing device to move or copy a file or folder to a new location.
Save To store a file permanently on a disk or to overwrite the copy of a file that is stored on a disk with the changes made to the file.
Save as Command used to save a file for the first time or to create a new file with a different file name.
System Clipboard A clipboard that stores only the last item cut or copied from a document.
Office Clpiboard Temporary storage area shared by all Office programs that can be used to cut, copy, and paste multiple items within and between Office programs. The office Clipboard can hold up to 24 items collected from any office
Hyperlink Text or graphic that opens a file, Web page, or item when clicked.
Document Properties Details about a file, such as author name or the date the file was created, that are used to describe, organize, and searched for files.
Shortcut Key A combination of keys or a function key that can be pressed to perform a command.
Blog An informational journal that is created by an individual or a group and available to the public on the internet; short for Web log.
Blogger The person who creates and maintains a blog.
Keyboard shortcuts A combination of keys or a function key that can be pressed to perform a command.
Thesaurus An index to information stored in a computer, consisting of a comprehensive list of subjects concerning which information may be retrieved by using proper key terms.
