describe the difference between pure substance and mixture

pure substanse | a sample of matter, either a single compound, that has definite chemical and physical properties |
compound | a substance made up of atoms of two or more different elements joined by chemical bonds |
molecue | the smallest unit of a substance that keeps all of the physical and chemical properties of that sustance |
chemical formula | a combination of chemical symbol and numbers to represents a substance |
subscript | a small number written to the right and slightly below a chemical symbol to tell the number of atoms of that element in the substance |
mixture | a combination of two or more substances that are not chemically combined |
