Global Warming is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of Earth's climate system.
Climate Changing a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels
Energy Resources Renewable (sun, sea, wind) or non-renewable (coal mine, gas well, oil well) resource used for obtaining an energy source.
Green Resources Green Energy is energy that can be extracted, generated, and/or consumed without any perfume, dyes
Non-Renewable Resources Most fossil fuels, such as oil, natural gas and coal are considered nonrenewable resources in that their use is not sustainable because their formation takes billions of years.
Renewable Resources Renewable energy is generally defined as energy that comes from resources which are naturally replenished on a human timescale such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves and geothermal heat.
Greenhouse Effect the trapping of the sun's warmth in a planet's lower atmosphere due to the greater transparency of the atmosphere to visible radiation from the sun than to infrared radiation emitted from the planet's surface.
Greenhouse Gases a gas that contributes to the greenhouse effect by absorbing infrared radiation
Acid Rain rainfall made sufficiently acidic by atmospheric pollution that it causes environmental harm, typically to forests and lakes.

Reforestation the action of renewing forest cover
