Describe the movement of particles in solids, liquids, and gases, and plasma state
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| State the matter | the physical forms of matter which forms includes, solid, liquid , and gases |
| Solid | that state of matter in which the volume and shape of a substance are fixed |
| Liquid | the state of matter that has a definite volume but not a definite shape |
| Gas | a form of matter that does not have a definite volume or shape |
| Melting Point | temperature at which a solid changes to a liquid |
| Vaporization | in which a liquid changes to a gas |
| Boiling Point | temperature at which a liquid vaporize and changes to a gas |
| Condensation | the change of state from a gas to a liquid |
| Freezing point | at which a liquid changes to a solid |
| Sublimation | which a solid changes directly to a gas |
| Phase-Change Diagram | drawing the shows the relationship among temperature and changes of state |
| Plasma | a state of matter that forms when temperature are high enough to completely remove elections from the atoms to which they were band |
