Matter:Distinguish between atoms and molecules

Atom the smallest unit of an element that maintains the properties of that element
Element a substance that cannot be seperated or broken down into simpler substances by chemical means
Nucleus in physical science, an atom's central region , which is made of protons and neutrons
Protons a subatomic particle that has a positive charge that is found in the nucleus of an atom
Neutron a subatomic particle that has no charge and that is found in the nucleus of an atom
Electron a subatomic particle that has a negative charge
Atomic Number the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom
Neutral having no overall change
Atomic Mass The mass of an atom or molecule
Chemical Symbol one or two letter code represent an element
