Distinguish between atoms and molecules

TermDefinition
Atom the smallest unit of an element that maintains the properties of that element
Element a substance that cannot be separated or broken down into simpler substance by chemical means
Nucleus in physical science,an atoms central region,which is made up of protons and neutrons
Proton a subatomic particle that has a positive change and that is found in the nucleus of an atom
Neutron a subatomic particle that has no change and that is found in the nucleus of an atom
Electron a subatomic particle that have negative change
Atomic number the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom
Neutral having no overall change
Atomic mass the mass of an atom expressed in atomic mass units
Chemical symbol a one or two letter code that represents an element
