Latitude Distance north or south of the equator
Longitude Distance east or west of the prime meridian
Equator Imaginary line around the earth
Atheist Someone who does not believe in God
Ideology System of thought and belief
Government A system of authoritative control over others
Democracy Government in which the people hold ruling power
Dictator Ruler who has complete control over a government
Autocrat Ruler who has complete authority
Interdependence Mutual dependence of countries of goods, resources and knowledge from other parts of the world.
Socialism System in which the people as a whole rather than private individuals own all property and operate all businesses.
Capitalism Economic system in which the means of production are privately owned and operated for profit.
