This is just for fun reasons, to learn the spells in Harry Potter.

| Accio | Summons item to caster; opposite is Banishing Charm |
| Aguamenti | Produces jet of water from caster's wand |
| Alohomora | Used to open/unlock doors; doors can be bewitched to block against this spell |
| Anapeo | Clears the targets airway if blocked |
| Aparecium | Makes invisible ink appear |
| Avada Kedavra | Killing curse; unforgivable spell |
| Avis | Creates flock of birds from caster's wand |
| Bombarda (Maxima) | Explodes the object/area the caster points to with their wand; paired with 'Maxima' can make a larger explosion |
| Cave Inimicum | Strengthens enclosure for enemies |
| Colloportus | Locks a door; prevents it from being opened by Muggle means |
| Confringo | Causes anything the spell meets to burst into flames |
| Confundo | Causes the victim to be confused and prone to follow simple orders |
| Crucio | Inflicts unbearable pain on recipient; unforgivable spell |
| Defodio | Can carve or dig out materials, such as stone and steel |
| Deletrius | Removes or dismisses the effect of Prior Incantato |
| Densaugeo | Causes the teeth of the recipient to grow at an alarming rate |
| Deprimo | Creates a powerful wind; also used to detach objects |
| Descendo | Makes things sink or go down |
| Diffindo | Cuts or rips objects |
| Duro | Makes the object hard and durable |
| Engorgio | Causes the object to swell in size |
| Episkey | Uses to heal minor injuries; victim will feel it go hot and then cold |
| Erecto | Used to erect something |
| Evanesco | Makes the target vanish |
| Expecto Patronum | Conjures a patronus from the caster's wand; stronger with more powerful good feelings; most powerful take possession of that person's patronus animal |
| Expelliarmus | Used to disarm another wizard |
| Expulso | Causes the objct to explode |
| Ferula | Creates a bandage and a splint |
| Finite Incantatem | Negates many spells and the effects of many spells |
| Flagrate | Caster's wand leaves fiery marks |
| Furnunculus | Causes the target to be covered in boils |
| Geminio | Creates a duplicate object; they are worthless and do not hold the same magical properties of the original; they last several hours |
| Glisseo | Causes steps on a stairway to flatten and creates a ramp or slide |
| Homenum Revelio | Reveals humans near the caster |
| Impedimenta | Capable of tripping, binding, freezing, knocking back, and impeding the target's progress towards the caster |
| Imperio | Causes the victim to obey the commands of the caster, spoken and unspoken; unforgivable spell |
| Impervius | Makes something repel substances and outside forces, including water |
| Incarcerous | Ties someone or something up with rope |
| Incendio | Produces fire; flames burst our flying |
| Langlock | Glues victim's tongue to the roof of their mouth |
| Legilimens | Allows caster to delve into the mind of the victim; they can see thoughts, memories, and emotions |
| Levicorpus | Victim is dangled upside down by their ankles |
| Liberacorpus | Counter spell to Levicorpus |
| Locomotor | Always accompanied with name of the target; causes target to rise in the air and move around at will of the caster |
| Locomotor Mortis | Locks the legs together |
| Lumos | Creates narrow beam of light that shines from the end of the wand |
| Meteolojinx Recanto | Causes weather effects caused by incantations to cease |
| Mobiliarbus | Lifts a tree a few inches off the ground and levitates it to where the caster points their wand |
| Mobilicorpus | Lifts a body a few inches off the ground and levitates it to where the caster points their wand |
| Morsmorde | Conjures the Dark Mark (Voldemort's mark) |
| Muffiliato | Keeps nearby people from hearing nearby conversations |
| Nox | Counter charm to the Lumos charm |
| Obliviate | Used to hide a memory of a particular event |
| Obscuro | Causes a blindfold to appear over a victim's eyes |
| Oppugno | Causes conjured objects to attack; most often used with Avis |
| Orchideous | Makes a bouquet of flowers appear at the end of the caster's wand |
| Pack | Packs a trunk or luggage |
| Petrificus Totalus | Used to temporarily bind the victim in a position similar to a soldier at attention |
| Piertotum Locomotor | Used to animate statues and suits of armor to do the caster's bidding |
| Point Me | Causes the caster's wand to point north |
| Portus | Turns an object into a portkey |
| Prior Incantato | Causes the echo of the last spell cast by a wand to emanate from it |
| Protego | Causes minor to strong jinxes, curses, and hexes to rebound upon the attacker or prevents them from having their full effect; used with Horribilus to provide protection against the Dark Mark and with Totalum to provide protection of an area or dwelling |
| Quietus | Makes a magically magnified voice return to normal volume |
| Reducio | Makes an enlarged object smaller; counter charm to Engorgio |
| Reducto | Enables caster to explode solid objects |
| Relashio | Used to force someone or something to release what it is holding |
| Rennervate | Brings someone out of unconsciousness |
| Reparo | Used to repair broken objects |
| Repello Muggletum | Keeps Muggles away from wizarding areas by making them forget what they were doing or why they were there |
| Rictusempra | Subject experiences being tickled |
| Riddikulus | Used when fighting a Boggart; forces the Boggart to take the appearance of a humorous form |
| Salvio Hexia | Provides some form of protection against hexes |
| Scourgify | Used to clean something |
| Sectumsempra | Violently wounds a target; the wounds resemble slashes of a sword |
| Serpensortia | Conjures a serpent |
| Silencio | Silences something immediately |
| Sonorus | Magnifies the spell caster's voice, acting as a megaphone |
| Specialis Revelio | Causes an object to show its hidden secrets and magical secrets |
| Stupefy | Puts the victim in an unconscious state |
| Tarantellegra | Makes victim's legs dance uncontrollably |
| Tergeo | Siphons materials from a surface |
| Waddiwasi | Appears to launch small objects through the air |
| Wingardium Leviosa | Levitates objects |
