Scientific Method

QuestionAnswer
Science A way of learning about natural world by gathering information.
Observation Using one or more senses to gather information.
Qualitative Observations Descriptions that don't involve numbers or measurements.
Quantitative observations Measurements.
Inferring Based on reasoning of whats already known.
Hypothesis Making a forecast of what will happen in the future based on pas experience or evidence.
Chemistry The study of the properties of matter and how matter changes
Physics The study of matter and energy and how they interact.
Scientific Inquiry Refers to the different ways scientists study the natural world
