These are all the vocab words we know about cells

| Lysosome | Small round structures that break down large food molecules. |
| Ribosomes | Protein making sites. |
| Nucleus | Called the "little nucleus"; where ribosomes are produced. |
| Endoplasmicn reticulum | Transportation system of the cell; made up of tube-like passages. |
| Chloroplast | Contain chlorophyll; necessary for photosynthesis and found in only plants. |
| Nuclear membrane | Protects the nucleus and allows material to pass in and out. |
| Mitoochondria | Provides energy for the cell. |
| Cell wall | Supports and protects the cell; found only in plant cells. |
| Chromesome | Responsible for passing traits of a cell to a new cell |
| Cell membrane | Controls movement of liquid in and out of the cell. |
| Cytoplasm | Clear, thick, jelly-like substance. |
| Vacuole | Large, round, water-filled sacs in the cytoplasm; for storage. |
| Golgi Body | Packages and releases materials into the cell. |
