The Rating of High Level Drugs

Schedule I Highest potential for addiction and abuse, can NOT be prescribed
Heroin, LSD and Marijuana Classification I
Schedule II High potential for addiction and abuse by written prescription only NO REFILLS NO SCRIPTS
Schedule III Moderate to low potential for addiction and abuse 5RF's in 6mts. written or oral by Dr. ONLY
Schedule IV lower potential than Schedule III drugs. Written or oral MA
Schedule V Low potential for addition and abuse, May be sold OTC
Amphetamines and Cocaine Classification II
Drugs containing codeine and paregoric Classification III
Chloral hydrate and diazepam Classification IV
Nightquil and Dayquil Classification V
