solid the state of matter that has a definite shape and volume.
liquid the state of matter that has a definite volume but takes the shape of its container
gas the state of matter that has no definite shape or volume
Boyle's Law the pressure increases, volume decreases, temperature stays the same, and is in inverse relationship
Charles's Law temperature increases, volume increases, pressure stays the same, and is a positive relationship
