Model How you represent your data
Nucleus Its the center part of an atom
Protons Is a subatomic particle that makes up half of the nucleus , along with neutrons.
Neutrons Are uncharged particles that are in the atom's nucleus.
Electron Are negative charged particles in the the atom.
Atomic Number The atomic number is the number of protons found in the atom's nucleus of that particle element. You can find an element atomic number in the Periodic Table.
Atomic Symbol/Nuclear Symbol/ Chemical Symbol Nuclear Symbol: the symbol of the element, the atomic number of the element and the mass number of the specific isotope. Atomic Symbol: representation of a chemical element. Chemical Symbol: A code for a chemical element
Subatomic Particle Are particles smaller than the atom.
Molecule An electrical neutral group, consisting of 2 of more atoms, connected by chemical bonds.
Lewis Structure A compound that can be generated by trial and error.
Bohr Model A small atom, charged with a positive nucleus, surrounded by electrons.
