Model A representation of a concept through a diagram, graph, etc.
Atom The smallest subatomic particle
Nucleus Center of an atom, cell, and other small organisms.
Proton A subatomic particle that has a positive charge.
Electron A subatomic particle that has a negative charge.
Neutron A subatomic particle that has a neutral charge.
Atomic Number The number on top of the element
Atomic Symbol The letter/symbol for the element

Lewis Structure The diagram that shows the bonding of atoms and molecules
Bohr Model The scientist that found energy levels inside the atom
Electron Shell The orbit of electrons around the atom
Valence Electron An electron found in the outermost level orbiting the atom
