What is Posttraumatic Stress Disorder? Develops after a severe traumatic event or experience. Distressing symptoms are irritability, anxiety, depression, or not wanting to re-experience the trauma.

What is depression? Mental illness where person experiences deep unshakable sadness and diminished interest in almost all activities. Symptoms are feelings of despair, hopelessness, and worthlessness, and thoughts of committing suicide.
