Frame of Reference System of object that are not moving with respect to one another.
Relative motion Movement in relation to a frame of reference.
Distance Length of a path between two points.
Vector A quantity that has magnitude and direction.
Resultant Vector Which is the vector sum of two or more vectors.
Speed Ratio of distance over time.
Average speed Total distance traveled divided by the time it take to travel that distance.
Instantaneous speed Rate an object moves in a given amount of time
Velocity speed and direction in which an object is moving
Acceleration Rate that velocity changes
Free Fall Acceleration change due to speed
Constant Acceleration Steady change in acceleration
linear graph Displayed data forms straight lines
Nonlinear Accelerated motion is represented by a curved line on a distance time graph.
