| Trait Theories | Theories created by Gordon Allport’s. He categorized these traits into three levels: Cardianal, Central and Secondary |
| Big Five Personality Traits | Extraversion: talkativeness Agreeableness: affection, Conscientiousness: goal directed behaviors Neuroticism: anxiety, Openness: openness. |
| Social Cognitive Personality Theories | Social cognition is a sub-topic of social psychology that focuses on how people process, store, and apply information about other people and social situations. |
| Personal-Construct Theory | George Kelly's personal construct theory suggests that the individual differences between people arise from our unique and highly personal interpretations of the world around us. |
