Separation Anxiety Disorder | Anxiety about being away from caregiver |
Selective Mutism | Doesn't associate/talk/socialize with people |
Somatoform Disorders | Believes sick; Hypochondriasis, Somatization, Conversion |
Hypochondriasis | Exaggerates minor injury when not bad; seeking attention unintentionally |
Somatization Disorder | Believes doctors wrong, thinks they have illness |
Conversion Disorder | Individual thinks they lose a bodily function due to traumatic experience |
Phantom Limb Disorder | Experience sensation where you lost a limb |
Dissociative Disorders | Memory Loss; Dissociative Amnesia, Dissociative Identity, Dissociative Fugue, Depersonalization |
Dissociative Amnesia | Memory retrieval difficulty due to traumatic experience; repression |
Dissociative Identity Disorder | Multiple personality disorder; split personality from stress |
Dissociative Fuge | Identity loss accompanied by travel |
Depersonalization Disorder | Feeling of watching oneself |
Psychotic Disorders | Loss of touch with reality; Schizophrenia |
Schizophrenia | Symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, disturbance of movement/speech/affect, paranoia, and catatonia |
Hallucinations | Voices in head or false perceptions |
Delusion | False beliefs; Grandeur, persecution, & erotomania |
Grandeaur | False belief that individual is special |
Persecution | False belief that someone is after you because you believe you are special |
Erotomania | False belief that individual is in romantic relationship with someone famous |
Disturbance of Movement | Uncoordinated physical movement |
Disturbance of Speech | uncoordinated speech pattern; Neologism & Word salad |
