Science natural resource vocabulary

TermDefinition
Natural Resources All materials that come from the Earth.
Renewable Resource A resource that can be replenished, like trees and other plants.
Nonrenewable Resource A resource that when it is gone, it can't be replenished, so it is gone forever.
Conservation Using resources wisely so they don't go to waste.
Reduce Using less of a material for a certain purpose.
Reuse Using materials or products over again.
Recycle Processing materials again to make new products.
Fossil Fuels Natural fuels such as gas or coal, formed from animal or plant remains.
