Cell Definitions
| Term | Definition |

| Cell Membrane | Like the bouncer of the club, some things get in, some things get out. (Selectively permeable) |
| Nucleus | Controls the center of the cell, where all genetic information is. |
| Nuclear Envelope | Like the cell membrane, protects the nucleus. (Selectively permeable) |
| Nuclear Pore | A tunnel going through the cell, lets bigger things into or out of the nucleus. |
| Nucleolus | Stores information for making RNA. |
| Chromatin | Uncoiled DNA. (Looks like roman noodles) |
| Cytoplasm | Jelly-like substance, gives the cell its shape. |
| Mitochondrion | Powerhouse of the cell. |
| Golgi Complex | Package & ship (Like UPS) |
| Centriole | Used when the cell divines. |
| Microtubule | Gets the "thing" there faster. (Cellular Highway) |
| Microfilament | Gives the cell its shape, makes up the cell skeleton. |
| Ribosome | Makes proteins. |
| E.R. | Rough-Full of ribosome. (Protein Factory) Smooth-No ribosome, makes fats. |
| Vacuole | Storage unit. |
| Lysosome | Janitor. Something breaks? This dissolves it. |
