Potential Energy Stored energy
Kinetic Energy Energy in motion or being used
Motion Energy The energy present in moving things such as the wind,a steering car,or a soaring ball.
Chemical Energy Energy stored in materials such as food,batteries,dynamite,and gasoline.
Gravitational Energy Energy stored in objects that are in the position to fall. (once they fall the type of energy changes)
Elastic Energy Energy stored in in stretchy objects. (a rubber band or spring)
Heat Energy The energy a substance has as a result of its temperture Higher Energy Temp. = more heart energy
Light Energy The energy carried by light rays.
Electrical Energy The energy that electricity provides.
Sound Energy The energy carried by sound waves.
