Int/Ext Validity

First 6 terms, four for internal validity and two for external validity

HISTORY Internal validity factor. All events that occurred in addition to the treatment between two points of measurement.
MATURATION Internal validity factor. All the processes operating within the subject that chance as a direct function of time.
TESTING Internal validity factor. Changes in scores that are due to simply taking the test or having the measurement taken more than once.
INSTRUMENTATION Internal validity factor. Changes in the method or calibration of the data-collection technique.
INTERACTION OF TESTING AND TREATMENT External validity factor. Describes how the subject's awareness of the collection of scores may influence awareness or resolve, influencing results and ability to generalize for the future.
INTERACTION OF SELECTION AND TREATMENT External validity factor. Results can only be generalized to those having the same unique characteristics as the subject.
