### Vocab words for vantuinen

TermDefinition
Acceleration acceleration is the rate at which the velocity of an object changes with time.
Average speed The average speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance travelled by the object divided by the duration of the interval; the instantaneous speed is the limit of the average speed as the duration of the time interval approaches zero.
Displacement the shortest path between the final point and initial point of a body.
Inertia resistance of any physical object to any change in its state of motion
Mass a property of a physical body which determines the body's resistance to being accelerated by a force and the strength of its mutual gravitational attraction with other bodies
Speed the magnitude of its velocity
Momentum the mass and velocity of an object.
Velocity the rate of change of the position of an object, equivalent to a specification of its speed and direction of motion
Instantaneous speed the speed of a moving object
Law of Conservation Of momentum a (generalized) linear momentum conservation law holds in electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, and general relativity.
