| Position | Describes the location of an object. |
| Reference Point | Location to which you compare other locations. |
| Motion | Change in position over time. |
| Speed | Measure of how far something moves in a given amount of time. |
| Vector | Quantity that has both size and direction. |
| Velocity | Speed in a specific direction. |
| Acceleration | Rate at which velocity changes. |
| Centripetal Acceleration | Acceleration in circular motion. |
| Force | A push or pull. |
| Net Force | Combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| Inertia | Tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| Gravity | Force of attraction between objects due to their mass. |
| Free Fall | When gravity is pulling it down and no other forces are acting on it. |
| Orbit | When an object travels around another object in space. |
| Fluid | Any material that can flow and that takes the shape of its container. |
| Pressure | Measure of how much force is acting on a given area. |
| Pascal | SI unit for pressure. |
| Atmospheric Pressure | Pressure caused by the weight of the atmosphere. |
| Buoyant Force | Upward force that fluids exert on all matter. |
| Archimedes' Principle | States that the buoyant force acting on an object in a fluid that the object displaces. |
