| Position | Describes the location of an object. |
| Reference Point | A location in which you compare other locations. |
| Motion | A change in postion over time. |
| Speed | A measure of how far something moves in a given amount of time. |
| Vector | A quantity that has both size and direction. |
| Velocity | Speed ina specific direction. |
| Acceleration | The rate at which velocity changes. |
| Centripital acceleration | Acceleration in circular form. |
| Force | A simple push or pull. |
| Net force | The combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| Inertia | The tenency of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| Gravity | A force of attraction between objectsdue to their mass. |
| Free fall | When gravity is pullimg it down and no other forces are acting on it. |
| orbit | When soemthing travels around another object in space. |
| Fluid | Any metieral that can flow and that takes the shape of a container. |
| Pressure | Measure of how much is acting or giving area. |
| Pascal | The SI unit for pressure. |
| Atmospheric pressure | The pressure caused by the weight of the atmoshere. |
| Buoyant force | An upward force that fluids exert on all matter. |
| Archimedes' principle | States that the buoyant force acting on an object in a fluid is an upward force equal to the weight of the fluid that the onject displaces. |
