| speed | measure of how far something got in a certain time |
| vector | quantity that has both size and direction |
| velocity | speed in a specific direction |
| formula for speed | average speed=distance/time |
| acceleration | change in speed or direction |
| centripetal acceleration | acceleration is a circular motion |
| formula for acceleration | acceleration=(last speed-first speed)/time |
| force | push or pull |
| net force | combination of all forces acting on an object |
| inertia | tendency of all objects to resist change in motion |
| gravity | force of attraction between objects due to their mass |
| free fall | gravity pulling it down and no other forces are acting on it |
| orbit | when it travels around another object |
| formula for force | force=mass*gravity |
