| Position | The location of an object. |
| Reference point | A location which you compare to other locations. |
| Motion | A change in position over time. |
| Speed | How fast something moves in a certain amount of time. |
| Vector | A quantity that has both size and direction. |
| Velocity | Speed in a specific direction. |
| Acceleration | A rate of change in velocity. |
| Centripetal Acceleration | Acceleration in a circular motion. |
| Force | A push or a pull. |
| Net force | The combination of all forces acting on an object. |
| Inertia | The tendency for all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| Gravity | A force of attraction of objects due to their mass. |
| Free fall | When no forces are acting on an object, and gravity is pulling it down. |
| Orbit | When an object travels around in object in space. |
