| Osteoarthritis | Caused by wear and tear on weight bearing joints. Pain, enlargement of joint and stiffness |
| Rheumatoid Arthritis | Caused by systemic autoimmune disease that attacks the synovial membrane lining of the joint. Occurs in non-weight bearing joints. Pain, stiffness, and crippling deformity. |
| Osteoporosis | Deterioration of the bone matrix. |
| Plaster Cast | Takes up to 72 hours to completely dry. Can't get wet. Abosorbs drainage. |
| Fiberglass Cast | Hardens in minutes. Doesn't asorb drainage. Can get wet. |
| Gout | caused by deposits of uric acid crystals into a joint. Painful, hot, inflammed joint. |
