| Position | describes the location of an object |
| Reference Point | is a location to which you compare other locations |
| Motion | is a change in position over time |
| Speed | measure of an object of how far something moves in a given amount of time |
| Vector | is a quantity that has both size and direction |
| Velocity | is a speed in a specific direction |
| Acceleration | is the rate at which velocity changes |
| Centripetal Acceleration | acceleration in circular motion |
| Force | is simply a push or a pull |
| Net Force | combination of all forces acting on an object |
| Inertia | is the tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion |
| Gravity | is a force of attraction between objects due to their mass |
| Free Fall | when gravity is pulling it down and no other forces are acting on it |
| Orbit | an object that travels around another object in space |
