| Position | Describes the location of an object. |
| reference point | is the location to which you compare other locations. |
| Motion | change in position over time. |
| speed | how far an object move in a given amount of time |
| vector | a quantity that has both size and direction |
| velocity | speed in a different direction |
| acceleration | the rate at which velocity changes. |
| centripetal acceleration | acceleration in a circular motion. |
| force | simply a push or a pull. |
| net force | the combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| inertia | the tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| gravity | a force of attraction between objects due to their mass. |
| freefall | when gravity is pulling it down and no other forces are acting on it. |
| orbit | travels around another object in space. |
