| Position | Describes the location of an object. |
| Reference Point | A location to which you compare other locations. |
| Motion | A change in position over time. |
| Speed | The measure of how far something moves. |
| Vector | A quantity that has both size and direction. |
| Velocity | The speed in a specific direction. |
| Acceleration | The rate at which velocity changes. |
| Centripetal Acceleration | Acceleration in a circular motion. |
| Force | A push or pull. |
| Net Force | The combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| Inertia | The tendencies of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| Gravity | A force of attraction between objects due to their mass. |
| Free Fall | When gravity is pulling down and no other forces are acting on it. |
| Orbit | When an object travels around another object in space. |
| Fluid | Any material that can flow and that takes the shape of its container. |
| Pressure | The measure of how much force is acting on a given area. |
| Pascal | The SI unit for pressure. |
| Atmospheric Pressure | The pressure caused by the weight of the atmosphere. |
| Buoyant Force | An upward force that fluids exert on all matter. |
| Archimede's Principle | States that the buoyant force acting on an object in a fluid is an upward force equal to the weight of the object it places. |
