| Position | describes the location of and object |
| Speed | the speed of an object is a measure of how far something moves in a given amount of time. |
| Reference Point | is a location were you compare other locations. |
| vector | is a quantity that has both size and direction. |
| motion | is a change in position over time. |
| velocity | is a speed in a specific direction |
| acceleration | is the rate at which velocity changes. |
| centripetal acceleration | acceleration in circular motion |
| force | is simply a push or pull. |
| net force | combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| inertia | is the tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| gravity | is a force of attraction between objects due to their mass. |
| free fall | when gravity is pulling it down and no other forces are acting of it. |
| orbit | when it travels around another object in space. |
