| Reference Point | A location to which you compare other locations. |
| Motion | A change in position over time. |
| Speed | A measure of how far something moves in a given amount of time. |
| Vector | A quantity that has both size and direction. |
| Velocity | Speed in a specific direction. |
| Acceleration | The rate at which velocity changes. |
| Centripetal Force | Acceleration in circular motion. |
| Force | A push or pull. |
| Net Force | The combination of all the forces acting on an object. |
| Inertia | The tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion. |
| Gravity | A force of attraction between objects due to their mass. |
| Free Fall | When gravity is pulling down and no other forces are acting on it. |
| Orbit | When an object travels around another object in space. |
