| Position | describes the location of an object |
| Speed | a measure of how far something moves in a given amount of time |
| Reference Point | the location to which you compare other locations |
| Vector | a quantity that has both size and directions |
| Motion | a change in position over time |
| Velocity | the speed in a specific direction |
| Acceleration | the rate of which velocity changes |
| Centripetal Acceleration | acceleration in a circular motion |
| Force | a push or pull |
| Net Force | the combination of all forces acting on an object |
| Inertia | the tendency of all objects to resist a change in motion |
| Gravity | a force of attraction between objects due to their mass |
| Free Fall | when gravity is pulling an object down and no other forces are acting on it |
| Orbit | when an object travels around another object in space |
