Dopamine -Hypovolemic shock -Pheochromocytoma (tumor of the adrenal gland) -MAOIs
Verapamil -Wolff-Parkinsons-White (WPW) -ANY wide QRS tachycardia -Hypotension -Cardiogenic shock -Concurrent IV beta-blocker use
Epinepherine -None for cardiac arrest -Hypothermia arrest (relative) -adult w/pulse age >35 (relative,patch)
Magnesium -Hypocalcemia -Impaired renal function=relative -Heart blocks
Calcium -Digitalis,Lanoxin,Digoxin (may cause asystole or dig toxicity) -Hypercalcemia
Glucagon -Known hypersensitivity/allergy -Pheochromocytoma -Insulinoma
Pitocin -Known hypersensitivity/allergy -Baby/Babies have not yet delivered -Placenta has not yet delivered
Albuterol -Known hypersensitivity/allergy -Use caution in Pt. w/cardiovascular disease
