"cradle cap" treatment massage with oils, nonmedicated shampoos; use milder keratolytics (meted and sebulex) - sulfur and salicylic acid
psoriasis treatment topical CS, coal tar, keratolytics, retinoids, anthralin, calcipotriene (Dovenex), oral CS, antimetabolites (MTX and cyclosporine), retinoids, vitamin A; UV light following coal tar
pediculosis head lice
treatment for pediculosis pyrethrins and permetrin
pyrethrin counseling points wash and dry hair; apply for ten minutes; comb out nits; treat all family members; do it again in 1 week
permethrin counseling points 1% OTC for head lice; 5% for scabies; no need to repeat
permetrin /pyrethrin ADR scalp irritation, pruritis, stinging; CI in crysanthemum allergy and <2 years
wart treatment salicylic acid (compound W, wart-off) or cryotherapy products (Compound W freeze off, Wartner Wart Removal system)
