Phases of Matter

Practicing identifying the 4 phases of matter and the names of the phase changes

The most common phase of matter. Plasma
This phase of matter has definite volume but no definite shape Liquid
Plasma is the most similar to which other phase of matter? Gas
This phase of matter has no definite shape nor definite volume Gas
This phase of matter has a definite shape and a definite volume Solid
In this phase, particles are free to flow Liquid
In this phase, particles are packed close together Solid

A substance in this phase fills the bottom of its container Liquid
A substance in this phase fills the entire container Gas
Of all four stages, this phase has the highest energy of all Plasma
Solid --> Gas Sublimation
Liquid -->Solid Freezing
Liquid --> Gas (2 answers) Boiling (occurs at a specific temperature) Evaporation (occurs at the surface of a substance)
Solid --> Liquid Melting
Gas --> Liquid Condensation
The phase consists of positively and negatively charge particles, though the overall charge is neutral. Plasma
