orientation describe the direction of the page or the paper that you will print on
alignment describes whether the text is lined up on the left,right,center,or across the page
bulleted list A series of text that uses characters, such as dots or diamonds, to present info in no particular order
numbered list A series of text that uses numbers to present info in a particular order
margin the space around the sides,top,and bottom of the paper
default a setting that the computer automatically selects unless you change it
tab a set distance for moving the insertion point
indent determines the distance of a paragraph from either the left or right margin
quotation is the exact words that someone else wrote or said
header shows th info at the top of each page
footer shows the info at the bottom of each page
