| meter | the baseic SI uint of length |
| speed | the distance an object travels in one uint of time. |
| velocity | speed in a given direction. |
| acceleration | the rate at which velocity changes. |
| how is the motion of a object determined? | An objects motion is determined by its change of posstion to a reference point. |
| how do you determind speed for an object that moves at constand pace? | Its speed can be detemined by dividing the distance it travles by the time taken. |
| how do you determine speed of an object where the rate varies? | If the object's speed varies, then dividing distance by time gives you the object's average speed. |
| how do you descibe the object's velocity? | (blank) |
