Psychology AS AQA case studies

What is Moscovici's Blue/green slide study testing? Minority influence
What were moscovici's proceures? groups of 6 females, 2 confederates. Given eye tests. Each gave judgement outloud about 36 blue slides, confederates consistently said green. They repeated reporting awnsers later individual.In another confederates inconsistently said green for 24 slides.
Moscovicis Findings? Participents agreed 8.5%. 32% agreed atleast once. Greater agreements with confederates in privete. Confederates inconsistent agreement 1.25%
Moscovicis conclusion? Minoritys influence to small degree. Greater influence privatly. Consistency is important.
Criticisms of moscovici. -bias the sample all female undergrad's in majority of 4 can't generalise. -Artificial task of no importance doesn't reflect real life so low ecological validity. -Flexibility of minority more important than consistency?
