Experiments&Theories
A brief description of different psychology experiments & theories.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Sir Francis Galton | Believed hearing, reaction times etc were a measure of intelligence. Tested on Torres Strait Islanders and found that there weren't many differences. |
| Charles Spearman | Two factor theory. Suggested that if you do well on one test, you'll do well on another because both involve general intelligence (g). Some correlated stronger because each measurement included a factor specific to each test (specific intelligence/ s). |
