Euphrates River This twin river flows into the Persian Gulf. Of the twins this is the river that carries the most water and the most sought after between Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. Like its twin, it to was the birthplace of the ancient civilizations.
Middle East it lies in the intersection of 3 continents: Africa, Europe, and Asia. It is often called the "crossroads of the world"
Arabian Sea India to the east, Pakistan and Iran to the north, and Arabian Peninsula to the west. For centuries it has been part of a trade route between India and Europe.
Persian Gulf Massive oil reserves are found here. It is an arm of the Arabian Sea. Many Arab countries call it the Arabian Gulf.
