Vocab on Realtive Motion and Reference Frames
| Term | Definition |

| Relative Motion | All motion depends on your point of view, or Reference Frame. You can be moving or not moving depending on what you choose as your a reference frame. |
| Reference Frame | A coordinate system which can be used to determine how something is moving. |
| Distance | The total change in position of an object. Direction does not matter. |
| Displacement | The distance between where an object starts and stops and in what direction. Displacement=(final position - initial position) |
| Reference Point | An object or point that you choose as zero in your reference frame. Your position will be determined by the distance from this point. |
| Position | Distance in a direction from your Reference Point. |
