Co-Teaching

Formative Assessment 5- flash cards/target

TermDefinition
Lead and Support One teacher teaches, one teacher circulates around classroom
Station Teaching Planned content delivered separately by each teacher switching midway through class period
Parallel Teaching Same planned content delivered by both teachers in two groups
Alternative Teaching Same planned content, one teacher teaches large group while other teacher teaches small group
Team Teaching Same planned content where both teachers deliver instruction together.
Accommodation Student completes same assignment or test but a change is made in the formatting, setting, timing, scheduling, presentation, etc.
Modification Adjustment to an assignment or test that changes what the standard, assignment, or test is supposed to assess or evaluate.
Inclusion Students with disabilities are included in the general education classroom while receiving specialized instruction within the content of the core curriculum
Instructional Technology Technology and/or systematic process designed and developed to help process and evaluate resouces for learning
Assistive Technology An item or piece of equipment that helps students with disabilities be able to do things more easily, efficiently, and/or on their own
