Electricity

TermDefinition
Conductor A substance that conducts heat, light, sound, or especially an electric charge.
Coulomb The standard unit of charge.
Current Electricity The flow of electricity through matter.
Electricity The energy produced by the flow of charged particles.
Insulator A material that does not easily allow heat, electricity, light, or sound to pass through it
Static Electricity The relocating of electrons from the surface of one object to the surface of another object when the objects contact each other.
