| holocaust | destruction or slaughter on a mass scale, especially caused by fire or nuclear war |
| The Holocaust | the mass murder of Jews during the Nazi regime during the period of 1941-1945 |
| anti-semitsim | Hostility toward or prejudice against Jews or Judaism |
| genocide | The deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation |
| dehumanize | Deprive of positive human qualities |
| ghetto | A part of a city, especially a slum area, occupied by a minority group or groups |
| stereotype | A widely-held but oversimplified idea or image of a particular person or thing |
| propaganda | Information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view |
| persecution | To harass or punish in a manner designed to injure, grieve, or afflict; to cause to suffer because of belief |
| holos | Greek word that means "whole" |
