| Access Copyright | a not-for-profit copyright collective that collects revenues from licensed Canadian businesses, government, schools, libraries and other copyright users for the photocopying of print works and distributes those monies to the rightsholders of those works. |
| Copyright | Plagiarism, like cheating, is an act that directly challenges the concept of intellectual honesty |
| Intellectual Property | Copyrights, by contrast, deal with non-physical objects or what is commonly referred to as “intellectual” property. These are objects that do not exist in physical form, but of which we can still make ownership claims. |
| Intellectual Honesty | is the use of information where no biases occur, no plagiriasm happens and anything related or relevant isn't omitted for a better purpose |
| Trade-marks | are used to distinguish the goods or services of one person or company from those of another. This includes slogans, names of products, distinctive packages, or unique product shapes. |

| Plagiraism | Plagiarism, like cheating, is an act that directly challenges the concept of intellectual honesty. It is the use of someone else's work without permission. |
| Fair Dealing | is an exception that permits limited and non commercial copying for specific purposes. Fair Dealing is a user’s right that facilitates creativity and access to information by balancing the restrictions in the Copyright Act. |
| Technology Protection Measure (TMP) | is any effort designed to prevent the reproduction of software, films, music, and other media, usually for copyright reasons |
| Creative Commons | Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. |
